DIPS students pledge not to use Chinese thread for flying kites

Jalandhar, January 20, 2015: DIPS Urban Estate Phase-1 Jalandhar students today pledged not use Chinese thread for flying kites during Basant Panchami and even pledged that they will also ask their relatives not to use Chinese Threads for flying of Kites. While this programme was organised on the directions from DIPS Chain of Institutions Gurbachan Singh. While DIPS Principal Meenakshi Mehta said that the reason for organising the pledge by the students not to use Chinese Thread for Flying kite because recently many fatal accidents have occurred due to the Chinese flying kite thread . A documentary was shown to the students the fatal experience of the effected persons due to the Chinese thread for flying kites.
