Jalandhar, January 19, 2015: Cambridge provides opportunities to the future of India that give them the freedom to take a flight and venture into areas which would help them to be more confident and capable of putting forth their ideas with conviction. A contingent of 27 students along with three teachers- Ravinder Mahal, as the Group Leader, Amandeep Singh, the Geography teacher and Ajay Wadhwa, the English teacher, left for Yale University, New Heaven, for the YMUN Conference, on January 19, 2015. Cambridge desires to provide a platform for international exposure to its students by sending them to Yale University for the conference.

The students of Cambridge also attended the Mega Conference IIMUN in Mumbai as delegates of various countries and gained confidence and experience from there and the outcome was that these students were the members of the Organising Committee for the First IIMUN Chapter of North India, which was hosted by Cambridge School in Jalandhar. One of the students of Cambridge was also elected as the Vice Chair for this First Chapter of the IIMUN.

Cambridge students exhibit self- confidence in such conferences and they also develop organisation, management and leadership skills which without any doubt are the core values of the modern world.

Cambridge Schools are planning to organise their own International IMUN in the month of August, 2015. It would actually give a golden opportunity to the students to give shape to all that they have acquired from all these conferences. They would be the Chair, the Vice- Chair and the members of the Organising Committee once again, where they would be handing over the baton of the responsibility to speak up or the social issues, put forth their ideas to solve the global issues and to voice their opinions by forwarding their drafted resolutions to the United Nations.

Chairman Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Deepak Bhatia, Director Learning wings J K Kohli, Nitin Kohli , Academic Director Deepa Dogra and Principal Cambridge International Foundation School, Jalandhar Meenu Huria, Principal Cambridge International School, Chotti Baradari-II, Jalandhar Kiranjoth  Dhillon and Vice-Principal Cambridge International School for Girls, Jalandhar, Preeti Sharma, were there to see off the group. The wished them a safe journey and also appreciated the passion in the students and teachers to bring about the desired change to make this world a place worth living.
