DIPS College of Education, Dhilwan Organised Inter College Competition

Jalandhar, January 29, 2019: DIPS college of Education Dhilwan organized Inter college competition of Poster making and declamation contest was organized at college premises . Dr.Harjit Kaur, Retd. Prof. MGN College of Education, Jalandhar was the chief guest and Dr.Tirath Singh, Principal Scared Hearts International College of Education, Barnala was guest of honor. Our Director madam Dr.Kanchan kohli extended warm welcome to the chief guest, guest of honor, participating teams and guest teachers of different colleges of Education and schools. As many as 37 students from different colleges and schools expressed their views effectively on the topics- Youth as protector of Nation, Stress Management and mental hygiene of the students, Social media and internet addiction, Drugs, school and society. In Poster making competition students made posters on the theme-, Bird conservation, Human Rights, Gender Equality. In this competition Over all trophy was won by Lyallpur Khalsa college of Education, Jalandhar In Declamation contest, G.N. College of Education, Kapurthala and Lyallpur Khalsa College of Education, Jalandhar won the first position, second prize was also shared by and Lyallpur Khalsa college of Education, Jalandhar and Innocent Hearts college of Education, Jalandhar. Whereas third prize and a consolation prize was won by Ramgarhia College of Education, Phagwara . In Poster making competition Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar got first position, Sri Guru Angad Dev College of Education, khadoor Sahib got second position and M.K. College of Education, Jalandhar was at third position and consolation prize was given to Lyallpur Khalsa college of Education, Jalandhar. At school level, Ms. Rishika and Simarpreet Kaur of DIPS School, Dhilwan won the first and the second position respectively. The chief guest and guest of honor congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of participants..Dr. Harjit Kaur Retd Prof. MGN College of Education, Jalandhar and Dr. Tirath Singh, Principal Scared Hearts International college of Education, Barnala and Dr. Sardool Singh, Asst. Prof. DIPS College (Co-Educational), Dhilwan made the judgment. Finally Mr. Mukesh kumar, vice principal of DIPS College of Education, Dhilwan extended vote of thanks.
