Author Mathangi Subramanian interacted with school kids, at a creative writing workshop held in Dikshant International School, Zirakpur.
Zirakpur, August 24, 2015: Dikshant International School organised a creative writing workshop for students of age group 10-14 years at the school campus. The workshop titled 'Dear World: Telling Stories through Letters', was conducted by Ms.Mathangi Subramanian, author of ‘Dear Mrs. Naidu’. In this workshop students learnt and practiced epistolary fiction, or stories told through letters, diaries, emails or anything else that is some sort of communication between two individuals, even if one is imaginary. During the course of workshop students in different stages designed characters, gave a plot to their story by thinking of some situations and finally came out with some wonderful stories conveyed in the form of letters.
“These workshops which are led by experts are a part of ongoing literary program in the school. This gives students a wonderful platform to build confidence and develop creativity”, said Mr. Mitul Dikshit, Chairman, Dikshant International School.
