PAU Scientist Dr Anil Sharma honoured by DST

Ludhiana, March 5, 2015: Dr Anil Sharma, Assistant Director (TV), Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) was honoured by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, for making outstanding efforts in science and technology communication through innovative and traditional methods. 

Dr Y.S.Chaudhary, Minister of State for Science and Technology presented the award, carrying a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000, a memento and a citation, to Dr Sharma. He was honoured on the occasion of National Science Day on March 2 in New Delhi. The Secretary of Department of Biotechnology, Dr K. Vijay Raghvan; Secretary of DST, Prof. Ashutosh Sharma; and Director of National Council for Science and Technology Communication, Dr BP Singh were also present.
