Design & Innovation Academy (IMS DIA) organises orientation programme for academic year 2016-2020

New Delhi, September 6, 2016: IMS - Design & Innovation Academy (IMS DIA) one of the pioneering Design Institute of the country has recently organised a three day orientation programme who ushered in the new academic year 2016-2020, amid an environment of learning and fun. The event witnessed all the faculty members and officials of DIA as they inspired the students to embark on this new journey with the institute.

There was a brief inaugural function where all the students witnessed a traditional welcome and were made familiar with the DIA campus, which was followed by talks from all who matter to the students during their stay in DIA. The students were also contented with insightful inputs filled with some interesting sessions which began with singing, dancing, wall painting, ramp walk etc

In the welcome address, Ankur Gulati, Dean Marketing and Branding at IMS DIA stated that “Students must focus on imbibing skills which make them employable within the industry & corporates. He added that parents are key stakeholders in their children’s education and both the student as well as institute has a responsibility to ensure that we don’t fail them. He requested the fresher to have full faith in their teachers as well as college and finally wished them for their successful career”.

The orientation programme helped the students in getting introduced to their fellow students, key members of faculty, management and administrative teams. It also helped students come face-to face with many influential teachers from corporate and entrepreneurial sides, who shared their thoughts and insights related to areas concerning the students present and future.
