URJA-Energy with Mouktika by Padma Swarupa Bhagavatula

A perfect evening soiree was hosted by the Ambassador of Belgium, H.E.Mr.Jan Luykx in association with Ms.Raka Singh (president) & Ms.Neelam Pratap Rudy (Vice President) NGO URJA-Energy for a fashion showing on Spring Summer Collection with delicate use of florals and architectural inspiration by Mouktika by Padma Swarupa with Supporters Educationist Dolly Kochhar, Entrepreneur Rashi Rohatgi Khan, Fashion Designer Preeti Ghai, Designer Deepa Sondhi and Entrepreneur Sonal Jindal. The event took place at Belgian Ambassador’s Residence Nyaya Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

Believing, “be the change you wish to see” of Mahatma Gandhi, Mrs. Singh felt that electricity is a fundamental right of every human being in today’s age. She started with solar energy in 7 villages soon after the establishment of the registered NGO, URJA-Energy. The NGO has the required certificates to raise funds and issue income tax exemptions on amounts donated as by law.

Mrs. Neelam Pratap Rudy, Vice-President, NGO URJA says “URJA will fulfil the goal of electrification of villages in U.P by low cost alternate energy through solar panels. It also intends to bring all around development to felicitate poverty eradication”.
