Ferozepur, September 11, 2016:Keeping eyes on the upcoming elections, Punjab’s Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal visited this border area today. It is pertinent to mention here that this was his second visit to this border district within one month. This time, the Deputy CM was here to formally inaugurate 485 “ Seva Kendars” in rural areas to provide various services under one roof at the doorsteps of the people. However, while addressing two public gatherings at Village Nepalan in Makhu and Village Mohan Ke Utar in Guruharsahai sub divisions, Sukhbir minced no words and targeted Aam Aadmi Party. While addressing the congregation at Village Nepalan, the Deputy CM said that these people (AAP leaders) want to rule over Punjab but they cannot even tell the difference between the traditional crops of Punjab. “These people are here to spoil the peace of Punjab and we will not allow them to do so”, roared Deputy CM Sukhbir Badal.
During his addresses at Makhu and Guruharsahai, The Deputy CM while blowing his own trumpet, said various welfare schemes like Shagun scheme, Pension scheme, Atta-Dal scheme, free bicycles for school girls, free health insurance scheme, free power to farmers, free power worth 200 units to the SC/BC families, distribution of sewing machines to women, establishing skill centers, gyms & sports kits for youth, sewerage and clean drinking water in 160 cities, “dharamshalas” in villages, making the state power surplus, establishing international airports and making Punjab top most state in road infrastructure are the top achievement of the State Government during the last nine years. “The state of Punjab has witnessed the growth which it had never seen before”, claimed Sukhbir.
The Deputy CM also announced various projects for the resident of Makhu including establishing a 66 KV power house at Village Gurali in Makhu block
