Sri Fatehgarh Sahib MP Amar Singh meets Union State Minister for Cultural Affairs and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel.
Ludhiana, July 24, 2019: Newly elected Member of Parliament (MP) from Sri Fatehgarh Sahib Constituency Dr Amar Singh has demanded the International Tourism Centre status to Holy City Sri Fatehgarh Sahib.
To get this demand fulfilled, he met Union State Minister for Cultural Affairs and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel at his office today.
While justifying his demand, Dr Amar Singh said that Sri Fatehgarh Sahib is not only a city but also a place where Sikhs and people of all walks have full religious faith. Chhote Sahibzaada’s sacrificed their lives for the sake of humanity in this city.
He appealed the union minister to provide world-class infrastructure in the city so that people from throughout the world can visit this holy city.
Patel assured him to take necessary steps in this regard soon.
Kamil Boparai, Jagpreet Singh Buttar and others were also present during the meeting.
