Dharamshala, March 24, 2019: DIG police Santosh Patial told this correspondent today that the girl whose dead body was found in Chambi yesterday, has been identified. She is a minor girl from Una district. "We are working on the case and will crack it very soon”, h said.
Earlier on Saturday, one dead body of a young girl was found near a rain shelter at Chambi about 25 kms from Dharamshala on Pathankot – Mandi national highway . The body was wrapped in a blanket, placed by the roadside. Forensic team examined the spot, before the dead body was sent for postmortem in Medical college Tanda on Saturday.
DIG police Santosh Patial informed yesterday that according to circumstances the body must have been brought from some other place and dumped here. “There are no visual injuries. The main cause of death could only be revealed after postmortem. Police have already collected some clues and the mystery of the death of this lady shall be resolved soon", said Patial.
