Three Students Of Ludhiana District Get Merit Award From Dr Ambedkar Foundation, Ministry Of Social Justice & Empowerment
Ludhiana, March 28, 2016: Deputy Commissioner Mr Ravi Bhagat has informed that three students from Ludhiana district have been awarded with the prestigious merit award from the Dr Ambedkar Foundation of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. The students who have been awarded this award are Supreet Kaur from SVJSS Public School, Jagraon, Pawandeep Kaur from RS Model Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana and Navneet Kaur from Dashmesh Senior Secondary School, Dashmesh Nagar, Ludhiana. These have been awarded with a cash prize of Rs 50,000, Rs 40,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.
Mr Ravi Bhagat today handed over a cheque worth Rs 50,000 to Supreet Kaur in his office here today. While congratulating the student, the Deputy Commissioner also thanked Dr Ambedkar Foundation for awarding the students. He urged Supreet Kaur to always work hard in her life and achieve great heights. He said that such financial assistance in the form of merit award would definitely boost the morale of all three students.
