Congress walked out on second day too in HP Assembly
Dharamshala, December 10, 2019: The Opposition Congress members once again made a walk out from the Himachal Assembly, continuously on the second day of the winter session, which is being run in Tapovan Dharamshala. Before it the Congress MLAs came into the well of the House to press their demand to have a discussion in Rule 67 on the issue of Global Investors’ Meet which was organised in Dharamshala during last month. This discussion was allowed under Rule 130, was not accepted to Congress. The Opposition raised slogans against the Jai Ram Thakur-led BJP government. They also raise the issue of inflation and later staged a walkout. Mukesh Agnihotri said to media that the voice of the Opposition is being snubbed. He said that they wanted to raise the issues of global investors meet and the inflation, but they were denied over democratic rights. He said the House belongs to public and not BJP. He said that few high level officers are misleading the government. Congress also walked out of the House on Monday too.
