Congress Sewa Dal will register its claim for ticket in Mandi and Hamirpur constituencies: Anurag Sharma

Dharamshala, November 25, 2018: The first meeting of the Working Committee of the Congress Sewa Dal of Himachal was organised in Dharamshala on Sunday. It was decided in the meeting that in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, Sewa Dal will register its claim for the ticket in Mandi and Hamirpur constituencies. Addressing the press, the State President of Sewa Dal Anurag Sharma said that the Seva Dal will be strengthened at the booth level in the state, and it will expose the corruption of the state government and central government to the public. In Lok Sabha elections, the Sewa Dal will play an important role to ensure the victory of Congress candidates in all the four seats of the state.

Anurag said, “Ever since Rahul Gandhi has assumed the charge of the National President, his efforts been towards a massive change in the strengthening of Sewa Dal, which is a major Congress unit, at the grass root level , to strengthen the Congress party as a whole.”

The national secretary of the All India Congress, in-charge of Jammu Kashmir and former minister Sudhir Sharma was present as the chief guest in this working committee meet here . Sudhir said, “Sewa Dal is the unit of Congress which works at the grass root level and plays the major role in strengthening the Congress. More such state level meetings shall be organised in other parts of the state so that the party could work with more zeal to win the Lok Sabha seats in the state.”

On this occasion, General Secretary of All India Congress Seva Dal and in charge of Himachal, Vilas Rawat said that in the Lok Sabha elections, Sewa Dal will play an important role in ensuring congress victory. The youth between the age group of 35-45 shall be included in the ‘Young Brigade’of the sewa Dal."
