CMC observes Multiple Sclerosis day

Ludhiana, February 3, 2019: National Multiple Sclerosis Day is observed on the 3rd day of February each year. This year the Department of Neurology at Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana conducted awareness program among the patients and their relatives.

Speaking on the occasion Dr.Vineeth Jaison Assistant Professor of Neurology explained about Multiple Sclerosis and explained about the how the disease affects young people and can leave them severly disabled if not treated early. He also spoke about the main targets for treatment and research that is being done in Christian Medical College, Ludhiana to find the best possible treatment for patients suffering with this disease.

Dr. Jeyaraj Pandian Professor of Neurology and Principal Christian Medical College spoke about the newer treatment options that are available for Multiple Sclerosis and how the future holds a lot of hope for patients and family members suffering with this disease.
