CM MOURNS DEATH OF VETERAN JOURNALIST PRITPAL SINGH

Chandigarh, November 2, 2017: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has mourned the death of veteran journalist Pritpal Singh, who succumbed to cancer at his Jalandhar residence this morning. Pritpal, of the Ajit Group of Publications, is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.

The Chief Minister recalled the journalistic services rendered by Pritpal Singh during his long media stint, describing him as a fearless and upright journalist. Pritpal was known to perform his journalistic duties with dedication, sincerity and commitment, said Captain Amarinder, adding that his contribution to journalism would always be remembered not only the media fraternity and all those who knew him.

The Chief Minister extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members, friends and relatives of Pritpal, praying for strength for them to bear this irreparable loss.
