Chandigarh, October 14, 2014: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today gave nod to constitute new Market Committee in Dirba of Sangrur district.
Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office, said that Badal cleared the file regarding the proposal put forth by the Financial Commissioner (Development), this morning.
The Chief Minister directed the FCD to issue notification in this regard. Badal in consonance with the prescribed norms of the Punjab State Agriculture Marketing Board approved to fix 17 members of this newly constituted market committee from amongst 29 villages including 16 villages from Patran, two from Lehragaga and 11 from Sularghrat Market committees.
