CELEBRATIONS: Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary celebrated

Jalandhar, January 12, 2013: The 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the ground of Sai Das Anglo Senior Secondary School here today.

Earlier, the students from various schools assembled at a gathering. Eminent citizens were also present.

Speakers spoke about life and works of Swami Vivekananda. They briefed about the Swamiji’s vision  for New India.

A procession was also taken out , which among others was participated by RSS leaders Chander Kant,  Kashmiri Lal Khanna , Kuldeep Bhagat, Balraj Gupta, Vivek Thapar, Shushil Saini, Pawan Malhotra, Sumesh Luthra, Naresh Malhotra, Yogesh Dheer, Ram Gopal, BJP national executive member Manoranjan Kalia, CPS KD Bhandari, Vinod Sharma, Ravi Mahendru, Rajat Kumar Mohindru, Mohinder Bhagat, Deepak Anand, Vipan Sharma, Hans Raj Chopra, Anil Sacher, Rakesh Goel and Ashish Chopra.
