New Delhi, November 9, 2015: The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Sub-Inspector of Delhi Police posted at Police Station Tilak Nagar, New Delhi for demanding & accepting a bribe of Rs.10,000 from the complainant.
A case was registered on the allegations that the Sub-Inspector had demanded a bribe of Rs.10,000 from the complainant to facilitate him for securing anticipatory bail in a criminal case which was being investigated by the said Sub-Inspector. CBI laid a trap and the Sub-Inspector was caught for demanding & accepting a bribe of Rs.10,000 from the complainant.
The arrested accused was produced before the Special Judge, CBI cases, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi and remanded to 14 days judicial custody. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
