As the New Year marks the beginning of a new chapter in our lives so it brings with it a journey full of festivals and remarkable events to be rekindled. Starting with Republic Day and Vasant Panchami, the students of Cambridge International Foundation School welcomed this year with great fervor.

The day was enthralled with excitement when students of all the age groups studying in different classes participated in their own fine way. As colors have special meaning in the celebration of Indian festivals, so to celebrate Vasant Panchami, our kids of Sparkling Stars were dressed in Yellow color signifying the brilliance of nature and the vibrancy of life. Their joy got doubled when their Fathers also joined them for fun games. They were challenged to thread the kite, identify their child while being blind folded and also to prepare yummy snacks for their kids and to make them eat the same.

A special assembly was conducted for the students of  IB PYP and CIE wherein IB PYP Students Rhea and Rachel recited beautiful poems related to the festival, and all students created rules for themselves which they will be following throughout their lives. Adding colors to the festivity, kids were found beautifully dressed in saffron, white and green colors , they also recited poems and group song "Kadam Kadam Bdhaye Ja” & “ Nanha Munna Raahi Hoon”. A Kite Flying competition was also organised for Kids of KG2 CBSE, which took the spirits to another level. Kids of KG 1 CBSE prepared tricolor Pin Fans, whereas NUR kids showed their participation by crafting Tricolor Indian Naional Flags. In the end the students were addressed by Director Deepa Dogra, Principal Meenu Huria, Rashmi Saini and Coordinator Monica Jouhal and were guided about the significance of Vasant Panchami and Republic Day. They were motivated to be committed towards their duties for the Mother Nation India and to respect the secularism of the country.
