Cambridge Extends A Helping Hand

Jalandhar, December 23, 2015: Proving themselves true to the values of life skills imparted at a regular basis in their school education, the students of Cambridge International School and Cambridge International Foundation School (PYP and Kindergarten) organised a  Charity Fete to generate funds for the flood -affected Chennai victims as well as Walk of Hope project  on  December23rd, 2015 in the premises of CIS, Chotti Baradari, Jalandhar . 
Reveling in the spirit of Christmas, the staff and students put in their best efforts to make this fete a grand success. Propelled by the urge to be of some help to the affected humanity, they left no stone unturned and worked very hard which resulted in the success of this Charity Event. The inauguration of the fete was done by Chairman LWES Mr Ajay Bhatia and Deputy Chairman Mr Deepak Bhatia.
A lot of fun- filled activities were arranged for the entertainment of one and all .There was  a large range of Game Stalls  starting from Hula-hoop , One Minute Game, Casino Royale Store, Mehandi Stall, Selfie Booth to  Challenge the Challenge, Hooplah, Blow Hard, Match the Catch, Catch Me If You Can  and  many more.
The excitement generated by these game stalls was unparalleled as crowds gathered to try their luck and actively participated amidst loud cheers.
Lots of mouth -watering stalls of eatables were also put up to satiate the palates of one and all. The students had a lot of fun that day as they relished these delicacies like Pav Bhaji, Burgers ,Dosas, Chusta, Chocolate Wheel Stall,  Noodles ,Manchurian etc  in sunny  weather. Groups of friends were seen drooling over the varied eatable stalls to enjoy to the fullest .
 Chairman LWES Mr. Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Mr. Deepak Bhatia, Chairman Learning Wings Mr. J.K Kohli, Dr Brijesh, Mr. Nitin Kohli, Academic Director Ms Deepa Dogra , Ms Pooja Bhatia, Ms Mona Bhatia, Principal (Cambridge International Foundation )  Ms Meenu Huria and Principal (Cambridge International School )Ms. Kiranjoth Dhillon, Vice Principal CISFG, Ms Preeti Sharma were   exhilarated at the huge  success of this event . 
They also congratulated the school authorities for managing this grand event in a flawless manner. Last but not the least, they expressed their heartfelt thanks and gratitude towards the staff and students of the school for working in a dedicated manner towards this noble cause which was highly instrumental in the success of this event.
