Raikot (Ludhiana), December 7, 2015: The bye-election for Raikot town's ward number 3 (general) vacant seat would be held on December 20, 2015. The nominations for the same have started from today onwards. ADC (D) cum Additional District Electoral Officer Mr Supreet Singh Gulati informed that as per the letter received from State Election Commission, Punjab, the process for filing nominations has started from today onwards and all interested persons can file his nomination papers till December 10 (from 11 am to 3 pm). The scrutiny of documents would be held on December 11 and the last date of taking back nomination papers isDecember 12. The election would be held on December 20 from 8 am to 4 pm and the results would be announced same day.
