Students of The British School, Chandigarh perform in front of parents at the school's Orientation meet.

Chandigarh, April 1, 2015: The British School, Sec 44, Chandigarh, held an Orientation programme in which teachers explained to parents how the learning process becomes more interesting with the use of new techniques and methods. The programme started with ‘Gayatri Mantra’ followed by a mesmerising dance performance of Foundation Years and Primary students. Then the team of Foundation Years and Primary teachers –Jyoti, Tanya, Ravinder organised a ‘Puppet Show’ with very colourful & creative props on the story ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’ which highlighted on avoiding junk food & eating healthy.

A short presentation, by teachers was given which focused on the holistic teaching that The British School, Chandigarh lays stress on. Said Mona Sethi, Principal, “The in-depth session apprised parents about the curriculum and methods to be followed by the school. This led to an intelligent interaction between the parents and educators. An open question answer round was held after the programme, where doubts and queries of parents were cleared.”
