Bank of India celebrated its 112th Foundation Day at Shanmukhananda Hall on 7th Sept, 2017. The function was attended by valued customers, eminent bankers including Senior Officials of RBI.
New products were launched in the retail and digital segments. A New Home Loan Scheme was launched which was named Star Dream Home with Tag Line Apna Ghar Ho Sapno Ka. The Scheme covers loan for affordable housing to EWS, LIG, MIG I & MIG II. In the digital segment four products were launched viz. VisaPayWave Card, Green PIN, Bharat Bill Payment System – Bill Payapp & Cash Recycler.
The Managing Director and CEO Shri D Mohapatra in his speech recalled that bank had a glorious past and his aim was to bring it to its past glory. Towards this new initiatives have been taken like establishment of Area Manager’s Offices, Star Prime, Project Eklavya to enhance customer delight. He added that more such measures were in the offing.
The function started with Ganesh Vandana followed with performance by staff and a musical event by Shankar Mahadevan.
