Ludhiana, February 16, 2017: Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings in association with YES Bank & Crown Worldwide Movers Pvt Ltd organised seminar on Growth & Prospect of MSME Sector in Current Economic Scenario at Hotel Park Plaza, Ferozpur Road, Ludhiana.
During the welcome remarks Sh.Avtar Singh President CICU said that the main objective of this program is to learn more about the economic & financial benefits and assistance available to expand business like manufacturing, trading services through YES Bank and other financial institutions. He stressed that technology up-gradation is must for MSME if they want to compete in the World Market. He urged that financial institution like YES Bank come forward to provide financial assistants to the industrial units.
Sh.Upkar Singh Ahuja, General Secretary CICU shared his experiences and said that there is a need to change the mindset of the leaders in this scenario. He said that industrial units should make a Business Plan and use the modern tools for the Global Sourcing. He informed that products required to be manufacture need value addition to curb the Export Potential for MSMEs.
Memorandum of Understandings (MOU) was signed between Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings and YES Bank. It was decided that support Loan Sanction Event/Loan Mela will be held in every month in the premises of the CICU to provide benefits to the interested MSMEs.
Sh.Vijay Kumar, Director MSME-DI, Government of India addressed the gathering and informed about the various scheme launched by the Ministry of MSME to upgrade the industrial units in the Country. He stressed that the setting up of the Common Facilities Centre (CFC) is the need of the hour for the development of the MSMEs in this competitive era.
Sh. Manish Arora, President and Business Head, YES Bank informed that only vision can change the scenario of the units. He shared the experience of the Bank how their Bank has achieved No-4th position in India due to the positive attitude of staff members of the YES Bank.
Sh. Abhishek Malaviya, Regional Manager North for Crown Records Management informed about the use of record management system to storage active management and timely distribution of information assets.
Sh. Mr. Amulya Mishra, SIDBI Manager Spoke on the need of the Energy Efficiency in the MSME sector and explained various schemes for adoption Energy Efficiency techniques.
Sh. Jagbir Singh Sokhi, President Sewing Machine Development Club, Ludhiana and Sh. Rajnish Ahuja, President of Association IV Phase, Focal Point, Ludhiana addressed the audience and appreciated the efforts of the Chamber for organizing this valuable seminar for the up-liftment of the industry.
Vote of thanks was presented by the Sh. K.K Seth and he said that it is the time to adopt Latest Technologies for betterment of the industry. He appreciated the efforts of CICU staff for organizing a successful Event.
