Avinash's double ton puts KSCA on top

Bangalore, July 21 (IANS) An unbeaten 200 (294b, 16x4, 4x6) by KC Avinash coupled with Shreyas Gopal's 150 (210b, 18x4,1x6) put Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) XI in command against Tripura CA at stumps on the second day of the KSCA All-India cricket tournament, here Monday.

KSCA XI declared their first innings at 506 for seven and Tripura were struggling at 77 for 3 in reply with two more days of play still remaining.

Also among centurions were Ankeet Bawne (154 not out, 197b, 14x4, 2x6) and Deepak Chahar (100 not out, 85b, 8x4,7x6) for National Cricket Academy who were in a strong position against Kerala CA at Mysore.

After dismissing Kerala CA for 139 in the first innings, NCA replied with 455 for 7 declared. In their second knock, Kerala were 24 for one.

Missing out on a double century was Abhimanyu Khod (194, 293b, 4 x27) who was 176 not out overnight as Haryana were 483 all out against Orissa CA who were 251 for four in reply.
