Aryans Group to start MA Education Course from the year 2016-17

Patiala, July 12, 2016: Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura has got the approval to start M.A Education program from Punjabi University, Patiala from the year 2016-17 under its Education College.

Punjabi University has allotted 25 seats in the session 2016-17 to Aryans Group for its M.A Education program. These seats would be filled on Merit-Cum-Means basis. For SC/ST/OBC students no fee would be charged except the University Examination Charges.

Dr. Manjula Kataria, Principal, Aryans College of Education while giving this information said that recently National Council for Teaching Education (NCTE), Jaipur in one of its notification has declared that apart from M.Ed teachers now M.A. Education qualified teachers can also teach in B.Ed Colleges which has resulted into the increase in demand of M.A Education course.

Dr. Manjula Kataria further said that Aryans has been running B.Ed course since last 6 years in which no seat left vacant. “The course aimed at brushing up the knowledge of methodology of educational research and getting acquainted with social and psychological aspects of teaching and education” She added

It is to be mentioned that after doing this course the candidate gets eligible for PGT jobs, curriculum consultant job, elementary and secondary school principal ship job, Private school directors jobs. The course also helps to meet the emerging demand of experts in the fields of teaching planning and training at different education levels. M.A education graduates are required at new and demanding fields of educational administration and management.

It is to be mentioned that established in 2007, Aryans campus is located on Chandigarh–Patiala highway, near Chandigarh and has lush green 20 acres pollution free campus. The group is running Engineering College, Management College, Business School, Education College, Degree College, Nursing College and Junior Science College (+1 & +2 Non Medical).
