Ludhiana, January 30, 2013: The old team of Auto Parts Manufacturers Association (India) once again came into power without contesting the elections which were held on Wednesday at the premises of the association.
Before announcing the results of the election by the Presiding Officer B.S. Sangha, General Manager Institute for Auto Parts and Hand Tools Technology apprised the members that January 23 was the last date for filling the nomination papers for the post of President, Vice President, General Secretary, Joint Secretary and Cashier. It was surprising to note that none has field any nomination paper for any seat from the opposite side to contest the election.
Adding, he announced the result that the following persons were elected for five seats as unopposed;
· Gurpargat Singh Kahlon elected unopposed as president
· Raghbir Singh elected unopposed as vice president
· Ranjodh Singh elected unopposed as general secretary
· O.P. Kapoor elected unopposed as joint secretary
· Mohan Singh Bhambra elected unopposed as cashier
On the occasion, the dignitaries such as P.D. Sharma , President Apex Chamber, Mahesh Khanna G.M. DIC , Tanvir Singh Dhaliwal (Councillor) , Jagbir Singh Sokhi (Councillor), Rajnish Ahuja, Joga Singh, K.S. Benipal, Jashandeep Singh Kahlon, Jaswinder Singh Thakral, Ishwar Singh, Harbans Singh, Jaswinder Birdi, Subhash Bajaj, Gurpreet Singh Kahlon, Baljit Sethi, Sham Lal, Sandeep Rait, Inderjit Navjug, S.S. Rekhi (DIC) and others congratulated the newly elected team of the association and praised the works done by the past team. They hoped that the new team will work with zealous and endeavours much more than before for the development of the auto parts Industries in Punjab and welfare of its association.
On behalf of the team, Ranjodh Singh, General Secretary, thanked the member of the association who extended their full support and cooperation throughout the period and hoped in future they will keep continue their help and cooperation.
In the end, Gurpargat Singh Kahlon, President, expressed his views and thanked the members for extending their full cooperation and help to conduct the election peacefully.
