Apeejay Celebrates World Dance Day

Jalandhar, April 29, 2015: On the occasion of World Dance Day, the students of P.G.Department of Classical Dance of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar dedicated a Dance Performance to their teachers.  The Kathak Performance was appreciated by the Principal as well as the teachers of the department.  Dr. Sucharita, Principal of the College said that it is important that along with celebration of the World Dance Day, the students also make commitment to take classical dance to the world stage and make it a popular form of Indian Dance.    She said that the students had potential to become world class Kathak Dancers as well as teachers of the dance form.
