Anuradha Thakur to hold charge of CSK University as VC

Dharamshala, July 20, 2016: Governor Acharya Devvrat, who is also the Chancellor of Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalya, Palampur (in Kangra District 35 kms from Dharamshala) has directed Secretary, Agriculture Smt. Anuradha Thakur, to hold the charge of the post of Vice Chancellor, Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar, Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalya, Palampur with effect from 1st August, 2016 in addition to her own duties till the appointment of new Vice Chancellor.
On the other hand on completion of his three years term as Vice-Chancellor, CSK Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University, Dr.K.K.Katoch, has enumerated his major achievements. He said that specific initiatives were taken for the development and improvement in the functioning of the university, management of financial health, human resource development, research and extension activities, teaching and students’ development under his leadership.
