Chandigarh, June 16, 2016: Six leading Engineering and Architecture institutes of Chandigarh and Hoshiarpur would conduct Joint Admissions for the session 2016-17. The students may submit online applications from June 25 to July 2, 2016 at the JAC Website ‘chdenggadmissions.nic.in’.
The University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University would conduct Joint Admissions for the PEC University of Technology, Sector 12, Chandigarh (formerly Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh); Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology (CCET), Sector-26 Chandigarh and Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA) Sector 12, Chandigarh and three Institutes of Panjab University namely Dr. S. S.Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology (UICET), (formerly Department of Chemical Engineering & Technology, Chandigarh); University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), UIET PU SSG Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur. The admissions would be conducted by Joint Admission Committee (JAC) duly constituted and approved by Chandigarh Administration.

The last date for generation of filled Bank Challan is July 1, 2016 till 5:00 P.M. The last date for depositing registration fee in SBI Bank using Bank Challan is July 2 till 12:00 noon and the last date for online registration is July 2 upto 5:00 P.M. The all India Rank (AIR) prepared by CBSE on the basis of score in JEE (Main)-2016 and normalised score in Class 12 or equivalent qualifying exam (60% & 40% weightage respectively) would be used for admission to B.E./B. Tech. and B. Architecture for JAC-2016.
The academic qualifications as prescribed in Information Bulletin and Application Form of JEE (Main) - 2016 [Sections 2.9.2, 2.9.3 and 3.1, JEE (Main) 2016, Information Bulletin] would be applicable for the allocation and allotment of the seats.
