70.18 % students cleared exam : Chairman
Dharamshala, April 24, 2018: The HP School board has announced plus 2 result of the 2018 on Tuesday.
Akshma Thakur daughter of Sanjeev Jamwal of MSC Senior Secondary School Sujanpur Tihra of Kangra district topped the Arts segment of plus two securing 479/500 (95.8%) markrs.
In Commerce segment Saijal Arora doughter of Inder Kumar of Government Senior Secondary School Sarahan of Sirmour district secured the top position with 483/500 (96.6%) marks.
In Science stream Sahil Kattna son of Vinod Kumar of Govt Sr Sec school Bagwara of Hamirpur district was at the top of the merit with 490/500(98%) marks.
Rajiv Shanker Chairman of the HP state board of school education HPBOSE Dharamshala said ,”out of 98281 students who appeared in the plus two exam conducted by the HPBOSE Dharamshala in March this year , 68621 were declared passed, and 15785 were placed under compartment making the result percentage to 70.18.”
He said that in this exam 51335 male candidates 34215 declared successful and in female sector 46439 candidates sit in exam and 34406 were passed. The number of failed candidates is 13167.
