7-day special NSS Camp concludes

Ludhiana, June 7, 2016: On the concluding day of 7-day special NSS Camp, a cultural fest was held on the theme `Environment including Preservation of Natural Resources and Conservation of Culture / Historical Heritage’ at Guru Nanak Girls College, Model Town, Ludhiana.
S.Gurbir Singh, President, Guru Nanak Education Trust was Chief Guest on the occasion. Congratulating NSS Volunteers, S.Gurbir Singh in his address said that NSS Camp is the best platform to acquire qualities of leadership and to have social experience by direct contact with the society.
Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Charanjit Mahal motivated the NSS volunteers to always keep in mind the motive of NSS and try their level best to make this society a better place to live in.
Various theme based competitions like Declamation, Poetry Recitation, Poster Making, Mehandi, Nail Art, Best out of Waste and Cooking Competition organized during the camp.
NSS volunteers presented a cultural extravaganza comprising of Songs, Poems, Dances and Skit to create awareness regarding pollution free environment. The detailed report of 7-Day Special NSS Camp was presented by NSS Volunteers.
Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Charanjit Mahal exhorted the volunteers to ensure their maximum participation in such camps as they are essential for igniting the spirit of cooperation amongst the individuals in the society. She said these camps play a vital role in motivating the youth to step ahead in creating green & clean environment. NSS volunteers also presented the report of the camp.
