550 ATTEND HERO DMC FREE MEGA HEART CHECKUP CAMP AT SIDH PEETH DANDI SWAMI

Ludhiana, October 24, 2017: Hero DMC Heart Institute organized a mega Heart Check Camp on 22 OCT 2017, Sunday at Sidh Peeth Dandi Swami Mandir, Ludhiana. Chief cardiologist of HDHI Dr.G.S.Wander including , Dr.Rohit Tandon, Dr.Abhishek Goyal, Dr.Sandeep Chabbra & Dr.Manikant Singla examined the patients during the camp.

Around 550 patients were examined during the camp. Along with the required medical advice, free Blood Pressure , Random blood sugar and ECG was done and free medicine has been provided to all the patients who had come to get free medical check-up in the camp.

Team from Hypertension Department of Hero DMC heart institute is also present in the camp as Hypertension also known as High Blood Pressure is common ailment among people of different age groups. The main reason for prevalence of this disease is sedentary life style ,Stress and intake of unhealthy food. Uncontrolled high blood pressure can damage your heart in a number of ways and it is necessary to adopt preventive measures prescribed by qualified doctors to prevent hypertension.

A diet counselling was also done by Dt. Gurpreet Kaur of HDHI during the camp , according to patient disease condition and patients were advised to follow prescribed diet routine to keep their heart healthy and to live a healthy lifestyle.

Management of Dandi Swami including Sh. Raj Kumar ji & Ram Nath Pandey said that the main purpose of camp was to bring awareness on heart ailments besides providing them prevention and treatment tips for healthy life.

At the end of the camp token of appreciation were distributed to all members who were participated in the camp.
