5 burnt to death in Ner Chowk; Himacha CM condoles bereaved family members

Dharamshala, July 23, 2018: Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has expressed deep grief over the death of five people in a fire incident in a house at Ner Chowk in Mandi district on Monday morning. CM met the bereaved family members today at their residence at Ner Chowk and expressed his heartfelt condolences with them. The Chief Minister said that it was a tragic incidence and the state government would provide all possible assistance to the victims’ kin. He said, “The cause of the fire would be probed.” Union Health Minister JP Nadda too expressed his condolence over this shocking fire incident .In his message Nadda said that it is a matter of sudden human lose in a tragic fire. He said that his heart saddened by this loss and his thoughts and prayers are with the members of the bereaved family. MLAs Vinod Kumar, Col. Inder Singh ,Rakesh Jamwal and Inder Singh Gandhi also visited the tragic site. According to information the fire broke at around 4 in the morning in which 5 people lost their lives including 3 women. The relatives of a family were gathered there for a marriage ceremony.
