Ludhiana, September 28, 2015: PCTE has been ranked 2nd best private B-school of the country and 9th overall including IIT’s and IIM’s of the country in ROI (Return On Investment) criterion by OUTLOOK Magazine. Return on Investment was calculated as ratio of average domestic salary/fee with additional expenses. Outlook one of the leading B-magazine of the country along with Drishti conducted B- school survey published in the 5th October 2015 issue. The survey was conducted on different performance criterion such as Selection process, Personality Development, Academic Excellence, Infrastructure and Placements. PCTE has been ranked overall 46th best B-school of the country. PCTE has also been ranked 28th among the top 100 B-schools in placements where last year 165 companies visited PCTE for placements. On Personality Development criterion PCTE scored 129 points out of 180 and stood 20th among the best B-schools of the country. This is consecutively eighth year in a row that PCTE has been ranked best In Punjab, Himachal, J&K and Rajasthan.
Dr. K.N.S.Kang , Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes, congratulated the students, Faculty and staff of the institute for their sincere and committed efforts. Dr. Kang said that PCTE had always worked towards overall personality development of the students so that they can compete with the best in the industry. Dr. Kang further added that this year about 165 companies visited PCTE for placements with maximum package on offer for students was Rs 10 lacs. He further said that these rankings are the results of the sincere efforts and hard work of our students in the industry who are working at top position in the leading corporate houses. He added that PCTE has been successful in creating a world class environment in the campus where more than 250 International students are studying from 30 different countries. Dr Kang also added that PCTE has been rated among the Best B-Schools of the country various other business magazines such as Business world, Business Today from the last seven years. Earlier the Institute is awarded Outstanding B-School (North India) award by ABP News, UTV Bloomberg, Amar Ujala & Dainik Bhaskar also it has received B-School Leadership Award by ET-NOW, Star News and at Philip Kotler World Marketing Summit, Malaysia.
