3 Police officers placed under suspension in connection with suicide by Inderpal Singh Ahuja

Ludhiana, April 30, 2016: Taking a serious notice of the incident in which a local youth Inderpal Singh Ahuja had committed suicide by jumping in front of the train and accused three police officers of driving him to death on his Facebook post,
Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, has placed under suspension the three police officers and sent them to Police Lines.

According to a press release issued by the local police, it has been further stated that the three police officers placed under suspension and sent to Police Lines are namely Inspector Davinder Kumar Chowdhary, ASI Buta Singh and Head Constable Swarn Singh.

The release further says that Dr Sandeep Garg, Additional Deputy Commissioner Police-2, has been directed to conduct a fair inquiry into this case. Dr Garg has been asked to submit his inquiry report within next three days.

Besides, GRP is separately taking all legal actions into this suicide case, reveals the press release.

It has been further stated that strict legal action would be initiated against the responsible persons after revelation of all the facts into the inquiry report to be submitted by the ADCP-2, Ludhiana.

The release said the deceased Inderpal Singh Ahuja before committing suicide had uploaded status on his facebook account alleging that the three police officers had taken a huge bribe money from him after his harassment in connection with Goru Baccha Case and they were still demanding more bribe money.
