Vivan Singh Gill, Faculty Director, Fortis Hospital Ludhiana inaugurates Medirent IPHS center

Ludhiana, July 8, 2016: Fortis Hospital has done it again. Known for introducing new developments in field of medical sciences and patient care, Fortis Hospital scores another first. Ludhiana’s first Medirent IPHS Centre has been set up in Fortis Hospital at Chandigarh Road in Ludhiana.

Speaking on the occasion Mr.Vivan Singh Gill, FD, Fortis Hospital Ludhiana said, Medirent Integrated Post Hospitalisation Services (IPHS) Centre is a new and upcoming concept. This Centre, set up within the hospital, provides various products and services which make the home bound patient’s life easier and safer. Various products and services, for the safety and convenience of care givers, are also available here. A very large number of expensive home care products are made available on rent which makes them very affordable. These are also available for sale in addition to services like home nursing and home attendants. Regardless of whether the patient is being treated at Fortis Hospital or elsewhere, the Centre and it’s services are open to all.

A very wide range of products is available for demonstration which the patients and attendants can touch and feel at the IPHS Centre. The product range includes patient care beds, wheel chairs, Air mattress, Bed accessories, Respiratory range like Oxygen concentrators, Nebulizers, C-PAP/BI-PAP etc., Pregnancy care range like Pregnancy binders, Breast pumps, motorized recliners, Walking aids, Toilet Accessories, Knee care range, Back care range as well as manpower support through Nurses and Attendants.

The MEDIRENT IPHS Centre displays a lot of general healthcare and wellness products also. This includes various types of weighing machines, fat analyzers, pedocycles, fitness equipment, sitting comfort products, foot and shoe care products etc. The range of products is mesmerizing and the staff at the Centre is very cooperative and well informed.
