250 attend free health camp at Bagwara

Bagwara (Hamirpur), September 9: As many as 250 people attended a free mega health camp organized by Ivy Hospital , Mohali in association with gram panchayat, Bagwara at Govt Senior Secondary School, Bagwara today. Rakesh Thakur , Chairman Zila Parishad , Hamirpur was chief guest during occasion. In camp the doctors team from Ivy from the specialties including cardiology, general medicine ,psychiatry , oncology and gynecology addressed the healthcare needs of people . The free tests of BP, blood sugar and ECG were also conducted during camp. Dr. Kanwaldeep, Medical Director, Ivy Group of Hospitals said that that Ivy is committed towards making specialized healthcare services accessible to all sections of society. Through this camp, our endeavour is to address the health concerns of the people who were often neglected due to distance from a good healthcare facility or monetary constraints. We have taken up the initiative to provide free consultation and medicines to the people at the camp . We were happy that this initiative would benefit area people, she asserted.
