Ferozepur, February 10, 2013: The police have recovered 30 bore pistol, 4 live cartridges and 2 Pakistani Sims from the possession of a smuggler Malkiat Singh of village Fattewala (Jallo Ke) presently under-trial prisoner at Central Jail, in the case of recovery of 14 kg heroin consignment brought from Pakistan.
Giving this information, Dilbagh Singh, SP (Detective) said, the CIA staff in-charge Gurbhej Singh, got the secret information that Pakistan mobile SIMs have been kept at the residence of smuggler getting the consignment of heroin from Pakistan, Malkiat Singh, who is frequently talking to Pakistani smugglers.
He further said that Gurbhej Singh working on this information, got the protection warrant for enquiry from Mukhtiar Singh and on the spotted place, 30 bore pistol, live cartridges and 2 Pakistani Sims were recovered from his residence.
A case in this regard has been registered under Arms Act at Mamdot police station.
