11 students offered job letters

Ludhiana, October 19, 2016: Placement cell of G.H.G Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar in association with department of chemistry conducted a placement drive with IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceutical Limited, Trident Complex, Mansa Road, Barnala for the post of Trainee Chemist on 5th October, 2016 at G.H.G. Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, Ludhiana. IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Limited (IOLCP) is a leading organic chemicals manufacturer and supplier. IOL are Indian manufacturer of industrial chemicals & bulk drugs for over two decades. Under API division in Pain Management and its derivative and salts, in Life Style Drugs Metformin Hyderochloride, Lamotrigine, Fenofibrate Clopidogrel Bi sulphate Ursodeoxycholic acid and many more are developed for commercial distribution across the globe. IOL Company is focusing on generic product development and cost effective commercialization. Presently, 6 API's are already commercialized and 10 API's are in the advance stage of development. President Production Mr. Jagdish Goyal, HRM executives Mr. Gurpreet Singh, Mr. Bachitter singh, Miss Mahak, Mr. Rimple singh (QA executive), Mr. Krishna Yadav (R & D Group leader), Dr. Swapnil sonar(Sr. Scientist) & Mr Basant Singh (HR Admin) visited college campus for this recruitment drive. Large numbers of students were registered for this event. All ex-students were eligible for this campus recruitment. 231 students appeared for the written test. 73 students were shortlisted for the interview round. Finally, 11 students were offered the job letter. These students are Miss Sahil Gupta, Himanshu Goyal and Kartar Singh of M.Sc(chemistry), Shivpreet Sharma, Avinash Kaushal, Gurdeep Singh, Rohit Garg, Jatinder Goyal, Nitin Sharma, Gurminder Singh, Yudhister Kumar of B.Sc(Med. & Non. Med.). President Manjit Singh Gill, Director Dr. Varinder Kaur Thind, Registrar Dr. H.S. Brar, Principal Dr. S.S. Deol congratulated the selected students and Prof. S.K. Gupta (Head), Prof. Jasbinder Kaur, Prof. Vaneet Dhir, all staff members of department of chemistry for guiding and preparing them for this recruitment.
