Lohri being celebrated in HMV Hostel at Jalandhar.
Jalandhar, January 14, 2015: Lohri festival was celebrated in the hostel of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya with great enthusiasm and joy. Students visited Pingalwara and distributed biscuits and toffees to the handicapped people. The holy fir was lit in the evening by Principal Dr Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj and Chief Warden C.K. Bhatia alongwith all boarders and wardens. Every one enjoyed the treat of ‘Mungfali and Rewari’ from the Principal and sang traditional songs of Punjab. Students performed Giddha on this occasion and special dinner was served.
