Jalandhar, May 15, 2017: Students of KMV Collegiate Sr.Sec.School, Jalandhar have bagged 2nd, 5th and 11th positions in the district and many more merit positions in Punjab School Education Board, Mohali. Garima from 10+2 Commerce scored 95.11% to stand 2nd in the distinct and 22nd in the whole of Punjab. She was awarded 428/450 marks. While Kulvir Kair from the same class who scored 94.6% stood 5th in the whole of distinct and 24th in Punjab. She scored 426/450 marks and 93.56% stood 15th in Jalandhar and 29th in Punjab. Showing excellent academic performance in the board exams 12 students scored above 90% marks and 21 students scored between 85%-90% marks. Shreya from 10+2 Arts scored 90.8% while Simran from the same class scored 90.4% marks. Both Komalpreet and Kirandeep from 10+2 Arts scored 88% marks, while Loveleen Kamboj scored 85.7%. Harmanpreet Kaur from 10+2 Arts scored 84.885. In 10+2 Medical Komalpreet did the institute & her parents proud by scoring 92% marks and Parneet Kaur from the same class scored 89.11% Simrandeep Kaur also from 10+2 Medical scored a high 86%

In the Non-Medical stream Jasmeen scored 92.8% while Palak, Arashpreet, Kamaljeet and Harpreet scored between 84% to 88.6% marks. In 10+2 Commerce Garmima topped the college merit list with 95.11% marks. As many as 8 students scored more than 90% marks. Their names are Kulvir, Gurpreet, Akansha, Dalli, Anchal, Hardeep and Gurpreet. While 10 students scored above 85% marks their names are Karanveer, Chandanpreet, Ramandeep, Sandeep, Manpreet, Gurpreet, Prabhdeep, Ramandeep, Dilpreet and Simrandeep

Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the young students who had shown worth emulating dedication towards their academics. She also congratulated the parents for providing unconditional support and co-operation.
