Jalandhar, May 12, 2017: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar has initiated many international collaboration with reputed US Universities like Boston University, Chatham University and Lesley University to provide international exposure and global opportunities to the students.
During the past years, students and teachers have visited some of these universities under exchange programmes. Recently, under this series, Vijeta Saini, one of the students of B.A. Hons. School in English semester IV, has been selected for attending a six-week long summer school programme to be held in the months of July and August. Though the competition and selection process for this course was very tough and rigorous Vijeta could qualify for it due to grooming exposure and guidance provided to her by the international programme of KMV.
It is worth noting that Vijeta had visited Boston University in March 2016 under KMV international exchange programme along with 7 other KMV students where she had been initiated into these programs at Boston University, USA.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Vijeta on this extra-ordinary achievement and wished her good luck and success in life. Vijeta attributed all the credit to her teachers, mentors and healthy environment of the college which is conducive for the overall growth of the students. She averred that KMV has provided her wings to soar high and explore new horizons. It was only because of the international collaborative ventures of KMV that she could have the opportunity to translate her dreams into reality.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi said that soon students will start transferring to these US Universities under KMV tie-ups and partnerships. Dual degree programs are also in the offering for students.
