Innocent Hearts Eco Club Creates Awareness Of Environmental Conservation

Distributes Self Made Paper Bags To Shop Keepers
Jalandhar, May 20, 2017: Innocent Hearts Green Model Town, Eco - Club students surprised the shop keepers of Model Town when they distributed paper bags made from newspapers in order to promote awareness of Environmental Conservation. The newspaper bags were made by the students of the school and decorated with heartfelt emotions. Paper bags were given to almost all shops to encourage the use of paper bags in place of the plastic bags. The President of the Model Town Market- Mr. Rohan Sehgal, the Executive Officer of the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust- Mr. Manish Joshi, Vice Principal- Ms. Sharmila Nakra and Primary Wing Incharge - Ms. Harleen Gulria were present along with the students. Students distributed the paper bags to shops - Jain Bhai, Reader’s Paradise, Hallmarks, Modern Book Depot, Jewellery Shop, Pinki Stores, Jolly Medical Stores etc. and told them to , “Say No to Plastic Bags” ,Sh. Rohan Sehgal also went along with the students to different shops. Dr. Anup Bowry- Academic Secretary of the Bowry Memorial Trust also mentioned that we would continue such activities for the welfare of the society in future also.
