Ravi Gupta and Rajeshwari Gupta offering sweets to their daughter Ishika after her success in 10+2 results.
Ferozepur, May 13, 2017: Two girls from Guruharsahai have brought laurels to this border district by securing 1st and 2nd position in the district. While Priya Behal daughter of Karanvir Singh, a student of GGS Pb. Sr.Sec.School in Guruharsahai secured 432 marks out of 450 marks (96 percent) and secured 18th place in the state (1st in district), Ishika Gupta daughter of Ravi Gupta, a student of HKL College of Nursing,, secured 430 marks out of 450 marks (95.56 percent) and was placed at 20th state position (2nd in District).
It is worth mentioning here that the parents of both the students are from teaching background. Priya on this occasion gave credit to her teachers for her huge success. “I want to work hard and want to do something for my country”, said an elated Priya Behal.
Ishika’a father Ravi Gupta, who is a teacher and recipient of Malti Gyan Peeth Award, said that Ishika worked hard for this success.
Rajeshwari Gupta, mother of Ishika, said that she was expecting this kind of result as her daughter had worked hard.
