Zee Cinema celebrates Vivah Ke 10 Saal on 10th November

Some films thoroughly entertain you, some provoke you and there are some that truly inspire you, the warmth of its characters hold a special place in your hearts. Written and directed by one of the finest filmmakers of Indian Cinema Sooraj Barjatya’s Vivah is one such film that encompasses all these emotions. Celebrating the landmark 10th year of the film, Zee Cinema brings a special initiative with the airing of this clean family entertainer #VivahKe10Saal on Thursday, 10th November at 9 PM.
A fascinating journey between engagement and marriage, Vivah is about sanctity of marriage and importance of commitment. Poonam (Amrita Rao) is a small town simpleton raised by her uncle (Alok Nath) after her parent’s demise. On her family’s insistence, she meets Prem (Shahid Kapoor), a rich business man from Delhi and instantly falls for him. Prem too falls for her simplicity and they agree to get married. But a day before marriage, a cathartic incident changes the course of their lives forever.
Talking about Vivah completing 10 years, Amrita Rao said, “Every actress, no matter how many films she does, will always be remembered for that one role which becomes a larger identity & I'm proud to have found that with Vivah. To commemorate one of the biggest commercial successes, Zee Cinema has launched a special initiative for its viewers. A nationwide contest is being held asking couples to share the journey of their marriage. Five lucky couples celebrating their matrimonial union of 10 or more years will get a chance to feature during the telecast of the film.
