Zeal and Zest marks Sahodaya Swimming Competition held at CT Public School

Sahodaya Swimming Competition being held at CT Public School, Jalandhar.

Jalandhar, August 12, 2014: Police DAV Public School bagged the first position in Sahodaya Swimming Competition hosted by CT Public School at its premises on Tuesday.

CT Public School was second position in the competition.  As many as 30 schools namely MGN Public School, Police DAV Public School, Cambridge International School, CT Public School participated in this competition with the fullest zest.

 The competition was organised to enliven the value of sports activities among the students. It was a superb competition in which the students performed the different tricks of swimming. The performance of students was of professional level.

Ranjana Rajput, Principal, CT Public School congratulated the winning teams and their teachers. In her presidential address she said, “The sports activities are losing their significance as the electronic goods are creeping into the Indian society due to the dawn of globalization and it is the responsibility of the young generation to restore it.

Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group of Institutions was the chief guest of the day. Awarding the winners & motivating all, S. Charanjit Singh Channi said, “It is a matter of pride & happiness to see the school students performing the swimming tricks of professional level. CT Group of Institutions has always promoted the importance of sports activities among the students. This is one of our efforts under aegis of Sahodaya Complex to motivate the students to take part enthusiastically in sports.”
