Ludhiana, March 22, 2015: Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Supreet Singh Gulati urged the youth to serve the society with utmost honesty and devotion so that our country as well as the society can prosper. Gulati said this while addressing a group of NSS Volunteers at Malwa Khalsa Senior Secondary School, here. He also flagged off a bus which would ferry NSS volunteers to an inter-state national integration tour to different states of the country.
A group of 90 boys and girls NSS volunteers and Youth Club members from Ludhiana and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar districts went on a 10-day tour. This tour has been organised by Davinder Singh Lotey, Assistant Director, Youth Services, Punjab.
Supreet Singh Gulati interacted with the volunteers and urged them to make the best out of this 10-day tour and try to learn something new in the course of it. He shared with the students his days of being an NSS volunteer during his school days.
Davinder Singh Lotey informed that during this tour, the volunteers would visit Chandigarh, Nada Sahib, Paonta Sahib, Rishikesh, Haridwar, Dehradoon, Mussoorie, Haldwani, Nainital and Nanak Mata.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Principal Karamjit Singh, Paramvir Singh, Chaman Lal, Surinder Singh, besides others.
