Workshop on Italian Food & Frozen Desserts

Ludhiana, September 23, 2017: Women Forum of Ludhiana Management Association organised a Workshop: ITALIANO - A workshop on Italian Food & Frozen Desserts, on Saturday in PCTE Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology. The workshop was conducted by Prof Anirban Gupta, Director, & his team of PCTE Institutes of Hotel Management & Catering Technology.

Thirty women members from different business organizations, academics, & some women journalists attended this workshop.

The participants were practically taught the preparation of following Italian dishes, & their ingredients, & the method of filling, mixing, boiling, baking, heating etc. :

• Stuffed handmade Pasta (Ravioli) in spinach sauce;
• Vegetable Lasagne;
• Cappuccino of Mushroom Soup;
• White chocolate & Lavender ice cream;
• Tiramisu

The participants were trained to prepare the above items, & sumptuous vegetarian Italian lunch without onion & garlic was prepared & served.
