Workshop on fire safety measures being held at BCM School, Dugri, Ludhiana on Monday.
Ludhiana, February 3, 2015: A workshop on ‘Use of Fire Extinguishers’ was conducted in BCM School, Dugri for van drivers and Class IV employees of the school on Monday.
The charge of the session was taken up by Ashok Kumar of Rajindra Fire Services. Tremendous increase in fire accidents is an alarm today. He highlighted many of the reasons like negligence of people, short circuits, gas leakage and explosion in labs. He suggested the use of fire extinguishers is a very effective measure in the rescue operations. All types of fires can be easily controlled without any harm. The School Principal Dr.Vandna Shahi conveyed the message to be very careful while dealing with fire equipments.
